Within the first quarter of 2024, calls to Helpline 1480, on the Cyprus Safer Web Heart reached nearly 400.
Based on the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute of the Ministry of Schooling, which acts because the coordinator of the Heart, the vast majority of the callers have been girls and the calls associated to cybercrime incidents.
Helpline 1480 gives recommendation on the protected and moral use of the web and digital applied sciences.
