17 Nile crocodiles and 10 Nile varans (reptile animals) have been seized within the baggage of a passenger who arrived at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport from Egypt.
Nile crocodiles and Nile varans, which have been decided to have been delivered to Istanbul illegally from Egypt, have been handed over to the groups of the Normal Directorate of Nature Conservation and Nationwide Parks (DKMP) of the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
In keeping with the assertion made by the Ministry, a search was made within the baggage of FH, who entered the nation from Egypt, at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
Because of the search, animals on the Conference on Worldwide Commerce in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) have been detected within the suitcase.
Because of the examination carried out by the Customs Enforcement groups along with the DKMP groups, 17 Nile crocodiles, 12 of which have been alive and 5 of which have been useless, and 10 Nile crocodiles, 5 of which have been alive and 5 of which have been useless, have been seized, which have been understood to have been delivered to the nation to be taken to Hatay and didn’t have the required paperwork. Dwell animals have been taken beneath safety by DKMP groups.
