A 4-magnitude earthquake occurred shortly after 5 a.m. Monday off the coast of Crete.
The quake was centered 50km north of Heraklion and the focal depth was estimated at 15km, based on the Geodynamic Institute.
On the similar level earlier on Sunday, there was one other 3.9 Richter earthquake, whereas aftershocks of lesser depth adopted.
No harm has been reported.
