The Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is again from his visits to Poland and Germany, hoping that his pledge to extend defence spending has gone down properly at dwelling – not least along with his restive backbenchers.
This morning he was in Berlin to fulfill the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. The 2 leaders mentioned the elevated risk to Europe’s safety attributable to Russia’s battle with Ukraine.
However Mr Sunak dismissed questions on how his pledge to extend UK defence spending can be funded.
