An evening of chaos unfolded on the campus of the College of California in Los Angeles.
Bangs had been heard and smoke could possibly be seen as police tried to discourage pro-Palestinian protesters that had arrange a camp outdoors the college buildings.
Demonstrations are persevering with at dozens of universities throughout the US; there have been greater than 1,000 arrests in whole.
