One individual died aboard a Singapore Airways flight which encountered extreme turbulence and diverted to Bangkok, the airline stated Tuesday.
The flight had left London for Singapore. The plane was rerouted to land on the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, based on Flightradar24 information.
“We will affirm that there are accidents and one fatality on board the Boeing 777-300ER. There have been a complete of 211 passengers and 18 crew on board,” the corporate stated on the Fb.
“Singapore Airways flight #SQ321, working from London (Heathrow) to Singapore on 20 Could 2024, encountered extreme turbulence en-route. The plane diverted to Bangkok and landed at 1545hrs native time on 21 Could 2024,” it added.
The Aviation Security Community has recorded seven incidents for Singapore Airways, final logging fatalities for one of many firm’s flights in October 2000, when 83 folks have been stated to have died.
