A 31-year-old lady was arrested at Larnaca airport with 5,879 drugs and 9 packets of white powder – believed to be managed substances – in her baggage.
In line with the police, the lady’s baggage was opened at round 7.45pm on Wednesday throughout routine checks to stop drug trafficking.
The lady was arrested and might be taken earlier than the Larnaca district courtroom on Thursday for a remand order.
