An earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale rocked northern Chile yesterday.
In response to the US Geological Survey, the epicenter of the very sturdy earthquake was positioned 265 kilometers east of the town of Antofagasta, a port on the Pacific, whereas the focal depth was 126 kilometers.
No tsunami warning has been issued thus far.
