BRUSSELS — Brussels South Charleroi Airport canceled all flights departing on Tuesday resulting from a strike by safety employees, the airport introduced on Monday.
“All arrivals at Charleroi airport shall be maintained,” the airport added, inviting passengers “to contact their airline to substantiate their flight.”
The airport ascribed the cancellation of all departures on Tuesday to the safety sector motion and subsequent “lack of employees to make sure safety operations,” noting that security couldn’t be assured.
