Hundreds of spectators have taken to the streets of the Metropolis of London to look at the 2024 Lord Mayor’s Present procession.
The parade, which dates again to the thirteenth Century, featured about 7,000 individuals, 250 horses and 150 floats, from Guildhall to the Royal Courts of Justice on Saturday.
The procession marks the primary public engagement for the brand new Lord Mayor of the Metropolis of London, Alistair King.
Mr King, the 696rd Lord Mayor, should journey to the Royal Courts to swear allegiance to the Crown earlier than taking over his function.
You’ll be able to watch the Lord Mayor’s Present on the BBC iPlayer.
