The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulidis, made bulletins relating to the improve of the College of Jail Guards to a tertiary college and the rise of the allowance acquired by the Jail Guards from 120 euros to 240 euros, in the course of the inauguration ceremony of the brand new wing of the Closed Jail .
The brand new wing of the Closed Jail consists of 97 cells, 4 dormitories, a classroom, a dentist's workplace, a physician's workplace, a visiting room, a fitness center, a basketball courtroom, a kitchen, a restaurant, and might accommodate 240 inmates.
