In response to the written assertion made by the Municipality, the night time was held on the İskele Atatürk Cultural Heart below the management of the İskele Municipality People Dance Group, with the participation of İskele Şehit İlker Karter Main Faculty, Dr. Suat Günsel State Main Faculty İskele, İskele Evkaf TMK, Bekirpaşa Excessive Faculty and İskele Commerce Excessive Faculty contributed.
The occasion was watched by college principals, academics, college students and residents, with Iskele Municipality Deputy Mayor Sefa Kurukafa among the many viewers.

The opening speech of the night time, which began with a second of silence and the studying of the Nationwide Anthem, was made by Iskele Municipality Tradition, Artwork and Overseas Relations Advisor Özlem Kadirağa.
Kadirağa emphasised that December 21, 1963 was an assault often called “Bloody Christmas” in world political historical past, which left an unforgettable black mark on the Turkish Cypriots.
Kadirağa mentioned, “Martyrs are the title deeds of those lands” and said that every of the martyrs are heroes who sacrificed their lives for the independence, homeland, flag and values of the Turkish nation.
After the speech, Iskele Merkez Hala Sultan Mosque officer Veli Ateş prayed for the reminiscence of the martyrs.
On the commemoration ceremony at Iskele Ataturk Cultural Heart, the theater play titled Baraj Tepe ready by Iskele Commerce Excessive Faculty college students, a movie screening by Iskele Evkaf TMK college students, poems from the language of the martyrs and poems ready by college students from numerous faculties have been carried out.
Iskele Commerce Excessive Faculty college students carried out the theater play ready by Şerif E. Gülersoy, Fatma Medih and Mehmet Güler.
As well as, the poem Şehidim, ready by Seher Sevgün Yücelten and Vedia Taşkan Kanlı, learn by a pupil of Suat Günsel State Main Faculty, and the poem Şehidime, ready by Münevver Kayacan and skim by a pupil of Şehit İlker Karter Main Faculty, gave emotional moments to the members.
The ceremony ended with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to those that contributed to the commemoration.
