Final Thursday (12 December), UK enterprise secretary Jonathan Reynolds met with chief executives from the defence sector in a bid to persuade them to “see defence as a core engine of progress”.
“Our world-leading defence sector is important to the economic system, supporting 1000’s of high-skilled, high-paid jobs throughout the UK,” Reynolds informed members from the trade. “With our industrial technique, we’re taking the pro-business, pro-growth method, and the sector must drive funding in each a part of the nation.”
