Newcastle Puppetry Competition returned for its fifth yr with a large snow lion, spider and swallows roaming Northumberland Road.
A vibrant Metropolis of Kittiwakes parade opened the 2024 pageant, with greater than 150 residents concerned in celebrating the enduring seabird which nests beneath the Tyne Bridge.
