H banter with multi-retired officers continues. No laws has been enacted thus far that addresses this difficult phenomenon and particularly the circumstances of present state and elected officers who obtain similtaneously their wage – allowances and pension or pensions from the State. Immediately, these officers quantity to 30. First on the checklist is President Christodoulidis, adopted by ministers, MPs, commissioners, and many others. No matter regulation is handed, if finally handed, regulating the problem of multi-pensioners, can’t be retroactive on this case. Subsequently, President Christodoulidis and the opposite 29 officers will proceed to obtain their pensions.
The one strategy to appropriate this distortion with the 30 present officers receiving salaries and pensions from the State is to resign their pensions for so long as they maintain public workplace. Voluntarily and solely.
It was heard within the current previous from the facet of the rulers that the present officers can not resign their pensions, as a result of they are going to be unlawful since there isn’t a laws that permits such a factor!!! This can be a ridiculous argument that doesn’t stand as much as logic and people who invoke it are merely grossly underestimating their very own intelligence.
What is de facto taking place is that President Christodoulidis, ministers, MPs and many others. they’re hiding behind the non-existence of laws so as to not resign their pensions, intentionally ignoring the truth that, already, for years the renunciation of the pensions of officers was performed by sending a letter to the Common Accounting Workplace of the Republic with which they requested to not obtain the pensions them and as a substitute, to be deposited within the treasury of the Republic for public profit functions.
These officers prior to now who had the sensitivity to forego their pension or pensions for so long as they held public workplace sought no institutional course of, no regulation, no regulation. They merely despatched a letter to the Common Accounting Workplace of the Republic informing them of their determination. A letter and nothing extra. This was performed, amongst others, by Nikos Anastasiadis, Kikis Kazamias, Zeta Emilianidou, Ioannis Kasoulidis, Giannakis Omirou, Nikos Nikolaidis, Onoufrios Koullas and at last, Savia Orfanidou. And Averof Neofytou divides his ministerial pension and the mayor's pension in eight non-profit establishments, the names of which we printed.
The nice and pursuits…
If President Christodoulidis needed to resign his pension, amounting to €1,013 per thirty days, a letter to the Common Accounting Workplace of the Republic was enough to request that it’s deposited within the Everlasting Fund of the Republic or within the Fund of the Social Help Company chaired by the First Woman and helps college students financially. If the President renounces his pension, the ministers, commissioners and deputies will comply with – whether or not they need it or not. The query is why the President doesn’t resign his pension.
