The Munich Safety Convention (MSC) goes into its third and ultimate day on Sunday.
The European safety structure, quicker EU accession for Balkan states and Europe’s competitiveness are on the agenda of the final day of the worldwide assembly within the Bavarian capital.
Since Friday, the controversy has been dominated by the brand new US administration’s course within the Ukraine struggle and disputes over European participation in negotiations for peace.
On the primary day of the convention, US Vice President JD Vance sharply criticized European allies, accusing them of proscribing freedom of expression and endangering democracy.
Amongst different issues, he criticized the exclusion of the far-right Alliance for Germany (AfD) and the populist Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW) from the safety convention and customarily opposed the exclusion of events. Representatives of the German authorities rejected this.
