Police have arrested a 61-year-old man in Pegeia for canine abuse.
Following a radical investigation by the Paphos District Police Animal Squad, the person admitted to the offense.
The incident, which occurred on January 16, 2025, concerned a canine present in a trash can by a Canadian resident.
The abused canine has since been adopted and is now having fun with a heat and loving house.
Police Headquarters thanked the Animal Squad, notably Constable Nikolas Kazantzis, for his or her diligent work on the case.
The accused is predicted to seem in courtroom quickly.
