A 30-year-old girl was arrested at this time and brought into custody, in opposition to whom a court docket warrant was pending, to facilitate investigations associated to a case of aiding third-country nationals to enter the Republic illegally for the aim of constructing a revenue.
The arrested girl is suspected of offenses involving conspiracy to commit a felony, smuggling of immigrants and impersonation.
The offenses seem to have been dedicated between August 2023 and April 2024, within the provinces of Larnaca and Famagusta.
One other man remains to be needed by the Police for a similar case.
