A discount of the VAT when photo voltaic panels (photovoltaic techniques) are put in is sought by the MP Stavros Papadouris of the Ecologists, with a proposal for a regulation that he tabled in as we speak's session of the Plenary of the Parliament.
The aim of the proposal is to amend the VAT regulation, in order that 5% VAT is imposed on the supply and set up of photovoltaics on and subsequent to non-public properties and in public and private buildings, used for public curiosity actions.
In line with the rapporteur, the regulation is promoted within the context of the train of the discretion supplied by a selected European Directive, concerning the widespread worth added tax system, in response to which the member states have the likelihood to use a diminished VAT price to the supply and set up of photo voltaic collectors.
