Birmingham Airport was evacuated on Wednesday afternoon (23/10) and all flights have been suspended following a report of a suspicious automobile.
In a social media put up, the airport stated police have been “presently on website coping with an incident”.
CUSTOMER INFORMATION@WMPolice is presently on-site coping with an incident. Airport operations are presently suspended.
Passengers are suggested to NOT come to the airport right now.
