Anora just isn’t your typical Oscar contender – set in New York’s Brighton Seashore, it tells the story of a younger intercourse employee – performed by Mikey Madison – who falls for the rich son of a Russian oligarch.
However Sean Baker’s movie has already attracted six Academy Award nominations – together with greatest image – and took house the celebrated Palme d’Or in Cannes.
