BAKU, Azerbaijan, Might 8. Armenia ceases
participation in financing the actions of the Collective
Safety Treaty Group (CSTO), based on the nation’s
International Ministry, Pattern experiences through the native media.
“Armenia will chorus from becoming a member of the choice of the CSTO
Collective Safety Council of November 23, 2023, ‘On the CSTO
price range for 2024’ and from collaborating within the financing of the
group’s actions envisaged by it, whereas not objecting to
the adoption of this resolution in a restricted format,” the ministry
defined.
Earlier, the nation’s Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, mentioned
that the CSTO doesn’t exist as a mechanism on which member
international locations, Russia, Armenia, and others, can hope.
“That is justified by the response of the CSTO and the
statements of some member international locations. Our society tells us: why do
you proceed to stay a member of the CSTO? Frankly talking, I do
not have a solution to this query,” Pashinyan famous.
