Talks between Austria's two largest centrist events to type a coalition authorities with out the far-right Freedom Get together have damaged down, Chancellor Karl Neuhammer stated on Saturday, a day after the liberal Neos social gathering walked out of negotiations.
“I’ll step down as chancellor and chief of the (conservative) Folks's Get together within the coming days and permit a clean transition,” Nehammer stated in a videotaped assertion to X, after coalition talks with the Social Democrats.
