BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 20. In the present day, Azerbaijan
marks the fourth anniversary of the liberation of the town of
Zangilan from Armenian occupation, Pattern stories.
Zangilan was liberated from Armenian occupation on October 20 as
a results of a counter-offensive motion launched by the Azerbaijani
Military on September 27, 2020.
President Ilham Aliyev introduced the information that the Azerbaijani
Military began liberating settlements of Zangilan district from
occupation in his handle to the nation.

the villages of Dordchinar, Kurdlar, Yukhari Abdurrahmanli,
Gargabazar, Ashagi Veyselli, Yukhari Aybasanli (Fuzuli district),

(Jabrayil district), Agjakend, Mulkudere, Dashbashi, Gunashli

Then President Ilham Aliyev emphasised that the Azerbaijani Military

villages of Khavali, Zarnali, Mammadbayli, Hakari, Sharifan,
Mughanli, and the town of Zangilan from Armenian occupation.
Additionally, a medal “For the Liberation of Zangilan” was established
in Azerbaijan.
As well as, by order of President Ilham Aliyev, days of cities
liberated from Armenian occupation have been established.
Zangilan Metropolis Day is well known on October 20.
