Tributes have been paid to a 12-year-old boy stabbed to dying in Birmingham who has been named as Leo Ross by police.
The West Midlands power stated he was stabbed within the abdomen and located close to Scribers Lane in Corridor Inexperienced at about 15:40 GMT on Tuesday and died in hospital later.
Leo, a pupil at Christ Church C of E Secondary Academy, was a “energetic and glad younger man” and “had many superb associates”, government head instructor Diane Henson stated.
A 14-year-old boy was earlier arrested on suspicion of homicide. Police stated {the teenager} had additionally been arrested in reference to an unrelated assault on a girl in her 80s on 19 January.
Ms Henson stated Leo was “only a beautiful and shiny member of the college neighborhood”.

The chief head instructor said Leo had many good associates “who he completely adored and so they adored him”.
The household stated he had been strolling a 10-minute route dwelling when the assault occurred and described him as “humorous, candy and had not one aggressive bone in his physique”.
