A GIRL with a uncommon blood most cancers was saved – due to bone marrow from her little sister.
Ruby Leaning was six when she collapsed on the college playground and was identified with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
Her two-year-old sister, Mabel, proved an ideal match and donated marrow for a transplant.
Two years later, Ruby was declared cancer-free and is now a cheerful and wholesome ten-year-old who loves swimming, dancing and piano classes.
Her gran, Amanda Fawcett, 56, stated: “She had the stem cell remedy and he or she truly obtained the stem cells from her little sister Mabel as a result of she was an ideal match.
“We wasn’t anticipating her to be a match at first however fortunately, she was so we simply could not consider our luck.
“It was superb – we had been so grateful.

However she added: “I’m certain Mabel will make Ruby pay her again when she’s older.
