Amir Dean, often known as Woman Bushra, is likely one of the nation’s most well-known British Asian drag artists.
Since debuting Woman Bushra 4 years in the past, Amir has travelled the world acting at comedy nights and cabarets – from Los Angeles to Liverpool.
This week, he opened his first UK tour – Saree About It – with a gig at Manchester’s Frog and Bucket comedy membership.
Woman Bushra spoke to the BBC about rising up homosexual in Bradford, representing South Asians within the British drag scene, and the very best make-up strategies.
