Devastating floods in north-east Afghanistan noticed houses swept away, roads destroyed and tons of killed final week.
The BBC spent a day in one of many worst affected villages, chatting with folks and listening to some unbelievable tales – together with that of a kid being rescued from the floodwaters.
Zulaikha, 10, was floating on her again close to a tree when she was noticed and saved by 18-year-old Elhamuddin.
