Returning Coronation Road star Marc Bayliss has teased there might be a good darker facet to his character Rob Donovan this time round.Â
The Corrie villain will make a shock reappearance on Friday’s episode of the ITV cleaning soap when his son Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll) goes to go to him in jail.Â
Rob was jailed again in 2014 for the homicide of Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan), who he pushed off the builder’s yard balcony.
Together with his sister Carla Connor (Alison King) in want of a kidney transplant after the injury brought on by her current case of sepsis, Bobby visits Rob within the hope he’ll conform to be a donor.Â
