The previous British military soldier Daniel Khalife has pleaded responsible to escaping from Wandsworth Jail final September.
He had initially pleaded not responsible to the cost, and is in the course of giving proof at his trial.
This morning he had the cost put to him once more and pleaded responsible, with the jury returning a responsible verdict on the cost of escaping from lawful custody.
His trial on three different fees is continuous.

Daniel Khalife’s trial started final month, and he has already given proof for 3 days.
Throughout that proof he admitted escaping from Wandsworth Jail in London by hanging in a makeshift sling below a meals supply lorry, hid by the tailgate.
He dropped out from below the lorry close to Wandsworth roundabout and disappeared into the capital. He was recaptured three days later after a high-profile manhunt.
He instructed the jury that he escaped as a result of he was being held on the susceptible prisoners unit the place most inmates are intercourse offenders, and since he had been warned that “terrorists” in Wandsworth Jail would attempt to assault him.
He stated he believed that if he escaped he could be put within the excessive safety unit at Belmarsh Jail.
The jury has heard that Daniel Khalife joined the Military at 16, and had reached out to a person linked to Iranian intelligence aged 17. He then contacted MI6 saying he wished to be a double agent.
He has instructed the jury all the knowledge he gave the Iranians was “faux” or “ineffective”.
He denies gathering data helpful to an enemy, amassing an inventory of Particular Forces troopers that might be helpful for terrorism, and perpetrating a bomb hoax.
