The dad and mom of a 14-year-old woman who died from a stab wound have appeared in courtroom charged along with her homicide.
Police have been known as to a home in Geneva Street, Darlington, County Durham, at about 23:00 BST on Friday and {the teenager}, known as Scarlett, died on the scene.
Simon Vickers, 49, and Sarah Corridor, 44, appeared at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court docket and have been remanded in custody.
No pleas have been entered and the case is because of subsequent be heard at Teesside Crown Court docket on 5 August.
Talking over the weekend, Det Supt Craig Rudd, of Durham Police, described the woman’s demise as “tragic”.
