Information is circulating that many high-ranking law enforcement officials have been detained and even arrested inside the scope of the “faux diploma” investigation carried out on the Cyprus Well being and Social Sciences College (KSTU).
Whereas there was no official assertion from the Common Directorate of Police relating to the arrest allegations, Republican Turkish Social gathering (CTP) Chairman Tufan Erhürman made an announcement on the topic on his social media account.
In his assertion, Erhürman said that if an official assertion shouldn’t be made, the method can be dominated by rumors and the popularity of the Group can be broken.
He said that it’s crucial for the Prime Ministry and/or the Common Directorate of Police to make a public assertion, bearing in mind the confidentiality of the investigation.
CTP Chairman Erhürman's assertion is as follows:
“The police conduct all investigations. There are stories, and even different rumors past the information, that the investigations lengthen to the personnel of the Common Directorate of Police, however there is no such thing as a official assertion from the Common Directorate of Police but.
This example shouldn’t be optimistic for the popularity of the Common Directorate of Police. If an official assertion shouldn’t be made, the method can be dominated by rumors, query marks can be created, these query marks will unfold to the following a part of the method and the popularity of the Group can be broken.
It’s crucial for the Prime Ministry and/or the Common Directorate of Police to make an enlightening assertion to the general public as quickly as potential (bearing in mind the confidentiality of the investigation)!”
