Fiery blaze in Serifos – Residents evacuated from eight areas

In Greece, an uncontrollable fireplace that broke out within the afternoon in Serifos is raging.

With messages to 112, the elimination of residents from eight areas was requested.

The fireplace is burning low vegetation close to settlements, whereas the small firefighting forces on the island have been known as to strengthen firefighters from Syros.

Firefighting efforts are being hampered by sturdy winds blowing within the space.
