A five-year-old boy died when he fell from a kitchen window on the fifteenth storey of an east London tower block, an inquest has heard.
Aalim Ahmed, beforehand named regionally as Aalim Makail, landed on a railing on the backside of the residential block in Plaistow.

Assistant coroner Ian Wade KC stated he was opening a “coronial investigation” as a result of he was “fairly glad that Ahmed’s demise was not from pure causes”.
Newham Council is investigating the circumstances.
