Large floods precipitated critical injury and energy outages on Friday in elements of France’s mountainous southeast area after days of heavy rain, although there have been no speedy studies of any casualties.
France’s climate authority Meteo France positioned six departments south of the town of Lyon on a pink flood alert on Thursday. The alert was downgraded to ‘orange’ on Friday, indicating that water ranges would come down once more.
