At 9:30 on the night of Good Friday, the three Epitaphians from the Holy Church buildings of Panagia Faneromeni, Archangel Michael Trypiotis and Agios Savvas met on the bridge of Eleftheria Sq., after the procession of Epitaphians within the walled metropolis.
The procession of epitaphs was led by the clergymen and ecclesiastical committees of the temples, accompanied by state, municipal and army authorities and the pre-eminent of the Theophilestate Bishop of Nitria and Exarch of the Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa in Cyprus, Mr. Nikodimos.
The Epitaph of the Holy Church of Panagia Faneromeni was carried by a consultant of the Pancypriot Affiliation of Reserve Commandos and will probably be accompanied by members of the 76th Strovolos Scout System. Hymns will probably be sung by the lead singers of the church with their choirs.
The Epitaph of the Holy Church of the Archangel Michael Trypiotis was carried by the fortieth Scout System accompanied by the band of the 71st Kaimakli Scout System and hymns have been sung by the lead singers of the church with their choirs.
The Epitaph of the Holy Church of Agios Savvas was accompanied by the 107th Lycabettus Scout System and hymns have been sung by the church's lead singers with their choirs.
