Oliver Bearman will race within the Sao Paulo Grand Prix in Brazil, changing the in poor health Kevin Magnussen, Haas have confirmed.
The British teenager, who is ready to hitch Haas full-time in 2025, was referred to as up on the final minute by the American System 1 staff on Friday with Magnussen ‘struggling with illness’.
It was introduced that the 19-year-old would participate in free follow and dash qualifying on Friday, adopted by the dash race on Saturday.
The staff left it open for Magnussen to return for qualifying and the principle race itself, which will get underway Sunday, 5pm UK time, however they’ve now confirmed the Dane is simply too in poor health to drive.
