Many well-known names have been detained this morning throughout the scope of the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Workplace concerning the allegation of encouraging unlawful betting.
Among the many suspects who allegedly took half in unlawful betting ads have been singer Serdar Ortaç, presenter Mehmet Ali Erbil, former soccer participant Batuhan Karadeniz, social media phenomena İbrahim Yılmaz, Muzaffer Zorbey Erkoçlar, Sefa Caner Sarıçam and Russian and Turkish citizen Aleksander Mensikof.
Serdar Ortaç and Mehmet Ali Erbil have been taken to the prosecutor's workplace accompanied by the police. After the prosecutor's assertion, Mehmet Ali Erbil was referred to the court docket with a request for arrest.

Whereas Mehmet Ali Erbil was within the courtroom, his ex-girlfriend Gülseren Ceylan ran to the courthouse. Ceylan's confused state didn’t go unnoticed. However, Erbil's daughter Yasmin Erbil was not seen and continued to take care of her silence.
