An aged lady has been taken to hospital after a house was set on hearth in Antrim through the early hours of Tuesday.
Police obtained a report {that a} property in Rathglynn was set alight at about 03:20 GMT.
The lady, who’s in her 70s, was contained in the property on the time of the incident. She was taken to hospital for therapy to burns to her fingers and smoke inhalation following the incident.
The Police Service of Northern Eire (PSNI) mentioned: “The property was considerably broken and at this stage, the incident is being handled as arson with intent.”
A lady, aged in her 40s, was handled for each smoke inhalation and accidents to her fingers, as she tried to free the girl from the property.
A person, aged in his 40s, was additionally handled for smoke inhalation as he tried to offer help.
The Northern Eire Fireplace and Rescue Service handled the hearth.
