The final race of the season in crucial group of motorbike racing was held over 24 laps on the 4.6 kilometer Barcelona-Catalonia Circuit.
Italian pilot Francesco Bagnaia from the Ducati Lenovo group managed to win the race with a time of 40 minutes and 24.740 seconds. Nevertheless, this victory for Bagnaia, the closest follower of the drivers' class chief Jorge Martin, was not sufficient for him to win the championship.

Spanish driver Marc Marquez of the Gresini group took second place, 1.474 seconds behind Bagnaia.
Jorge Martin completed the season on the prime of the pilots' classification by ending third, 3.810 seconds behind the chief, and gained the primary championship of his profession.
