Selma Eylem, President of the Turkish Cypriot Secondary Training Academics' Union (KTOEÖS), revealed a press launch concerning the camps to be organized by the Ministry of Nationwide Training and Tradition in Turkey. Eylem mentioned that purposes for the camps to be held in Çanakkale, Rize, Trabzon, Istanbul and Antalya can be acquired by Embassy officers and criticized this case.
Arguing that “public, trendy, scientific and secular schooling is being tried to be eradicated”, Eylem additionally mentioned that “academics are being neutralized and confronted with dropping their standing in society”.
The motion said that they’ll proceed their battle for a contemporary, secular and democratic schooling and way of life.
