A 33-year-old man is at the moment below commentary on the Baris psychiatric hospital in northern Nicosia after having stolen an ambulance and pushed it 25 kilometres.
The person reportedly fell unwell within the early hours of Saturday morning within the village of Fyllia, close to Morphou, the place he lives, with an ambulance known as to help him.
Nevertheless, when the ambulance arrived, a disagreement arose between the person and the paramedics as as to whether he may sit within the entrance of the ambulance or not. The person reportedly threatened to kill the paramedics throughout the argument.
Following this disagreement, the person climbed into the driving force’s seat of the ambulance and drove it from Fyllia to the Dr Burhan Nalbantoglu hospital in northern Nicosia.
Whereas driving to Nicosia, the person livestreamed himself on social media, saying his household had poisoned him and tried to kill him.
He additionally known as the accident & emergency division on the Dr Burhan Nalbantoglu hospital and instructed them, “I’m coming to kill you”.
Upon arrival on the hospital, he was taken to the Baris psychiatric hospital and examined, earlier than being saved below commentary.
