Morgan Wallen is taking accountability in his arrest.
Almost two weeks after he was booked on reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct expenses in Nashville for allegedly throwing a chair off the roof of Chief’s Bar, the nation music star spoke out and addressed the state of affairs.
“I did not really feel proper publicly checking in till I made amends with some of us,” he wrote on X, previously often called Twitter, April 19. “I’ve touched base with Nashville regulation enforcement, my household, and the nice individuals at Chief’s. I am not happy with my habits, and I settle for accountability.”
Wallen added, “I’ve the utmost respect for the officers working daily to maintain us all secure.”
The 30-year-old was taken into police custody on April 7 after officers stationed exterior the bar witnessed a chair falling from above, per arrest information reviewed by native outlet WKRN. Upon investigation into the incident, authorities reportedly discovered surveillance footage displaying Wallen “lunging an object over the roof,” which stands at six tales above the road.Â
