Warring Russia and Ukraine exchanged some 300 hundred prisoners Monday in a deal brokered by the United Arab Emirates.
“The return of our individuals from Russian captivity is all the time superb information for all of us,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy mentioned hours after the handover.
The 2 nations exchanged 150 enemy prisoners every, in accordance with the Russian protection ministry. Zelenskyy, in the meantime, mentioned Ukraine had recovered 189 of its nationals — “troopers, servants and officers” — whereas two have been civilians captured in Mariupol.
