9 Israeli startup firms have been awarded a complete of 108 million euros (about 118 million U.S. {dollars}) from the European Union (EU), in response to an announcement issued by the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA) on Wednesday.
The funding was awarded by way of the European Innovation Council’s EIC Accelerator Program, a part of the Horizon Europe program, the EU’s key funding program for analysis and innovation.
The 9 firms are engaged in quantum computing, most cancers therapies, smooth tissue restore, drug manufacturing in house, multi-material additive manufacturing, and on-chip reminiscence.
The IIA famous that the funding will help these startups in numerous high-impact sectors, positioning them to make substantial developments and compete on a worldwide scale. ■
