The Municipality of Paphos honors the reminiscence of Anastasia Adamidou.
In line with a press release from the Municipality of Paphos, the Municipal Council at a session on February 24, 2025, “unanimously determined to call a small park in honor of our fellow citizen, Anastasia Adamidou, who misplaced her life within the tragic railway accident.”
This determination was taken after the advice of the Mayor of Paphos, Phaedon Phaedonos.
It’s reported that the park's naming is a minimal tribute to the reminiscence of Anastasia Adamidou, but additionally a symbolic reminder of the necessity to always remember the victims of this tragedy.
