A aircraft passenger has informed how his pilot made an “extraordinary” touchdown in a tiny Cessna plane at Edinburgh Airport throughout Storm Kathleen.
Gary Wilkinson captured footage of the nail-biting strategy from behind the cockpit of the charted VistaJet aircraft.
Mr Wilkinson, from Dunfermline, and 5 buddies have been the one passengers on board because it landed in 50mph (80 km/h) winds at 13:40 BST on Saturday.
It got here as Storm Kathleen introduced winds of as much as 90mph to components of Scotland.
He stated: “At about 100 miles out one of many pilots warned us that it is likely to be a bit windy – and we’d be on the very limits of the aircraft to land.
“It was all right down to the ability of the pilots. It was extraordinary.”
Mr Wilkinson’s group had been flying again from a ski journey to Oslo, Norway.
About 140 flights at UK airports have been cancelled on Saturday.
