Tax Division officers are beginning shock visits to properties and residences illegally rented out by the web platforms, AirBnB and Reserving, whereas their house owners benefited from the decreased price of 5 p.c VAT, for the acquisition of a primary dwelling.
That is what the Commissioner of Taxation, Sotiris Markidis, advised Phileleftheros, calling on property patrons, who benefited from the decreased price whereas making industrial use of their buildings, to adjust to the regulation and voluntarily go to the Tax Division to pay the remaining fourteen p.c .
