The Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew expressed his optimism for the optimistic consequence of the dialogue with the Turkish authorities relating to the reopening of the Theological College of Chalkis, inaugurating the brand new seat of “Byzantine Thessaloniki” and the exhibition “Holy Theological College of Chalkis – 180 years of contribution in Letters and Man”.
“The trouble to reopen the College of Halki is progressing at a fast tempo” declared the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. As he talked about, the College was visited on the directions of Erdogan, the Minister of Schooling of Turkey. Subsequent week, an expanded delegation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate will go to Ankara to proceed the
dialogue, as to the technical particulars.
