The Minister of Protection Vassilis Palmas is in Thessaloniki, following the invitation of the Minister of Nationwide Protection of Greece, Nikos Dendias, to take part within the celebrations for the anniversary of the liberation of the town, the feast of the patron and patron Saint Demetrius and the anniversary of October 28, 1940.
Throughout his keep in Thessaloniki, Mr. Palmas will attend the flag-raising ceremony on the White Tower and, subsequently, the official eulogy that may happen on the Holy Church of Saint Dimitrios, the patron saint.
On October 28, he’ll attend the army parade.
